Roof Waterproofing and Fire Protection

Where waterproofing and fire protection is required, Liquid Rubber FireSafe™, a liquid applied system when cured provides a flexible fully adhered, UV stable waterproof membrane with fire retardant properties. FireSafe™ is recommended as a top coat over polyurethane or polystyrene foam roof insulation or directly over concrete or steel.

Conventional Roof Waterproofing

New construction and re-waterproofing projects benefit with Liquid Rubber Daclar™ used for waterproofing by providing a seamless and fully adhered membrane which avoids the problems of leaks associated with factory manufactured sheeting. A durable industrial roof waterproofing membrane Daclar™ can be top coated with Liquid Rubber Acritech™ where a colored finished roof surface is required.

Inter-floor Waterproofing

Providing waterproofing for floor structures in wet areas such as bathrooms, shower areas and kitchens, Liquid Rubber Drylar™ is applied using an airless spray pump or Liquid Rubber Zavlar™ is applied using a conventional roller to fully seal between the floor sub-deck and the finished flooring. Both options provide a seamless and fully adhered waterproofing layer for the flooring assembly.

Floor Abrasion Protection

Concrete and wood flooring is protected using Liquid Rubber Acritech™, an acrylic coating which both protects, seals and beautifies. Applied to warehouse floors, shipping areas, and process area flooring, Acritech™ provides both abrasion and chemical spill protection. Liquid Rubber ClearCoat™ is applied as a top coat to Acritech™ to enhance cleaning in heavy traffic areas.

Interior and Exterior Wall Waterproofing and Fire Protection

The low smoke and flame spread properties of Liquid Rubber FireSafe™ combined with low vapour permeation and water transmission make it the choice for waterproofing applications where fire protection is required. Liquid Rubber FireSafe™ is applied using conventional stucco spray equipment to warehouse walls, storage container walls, and underground buildings found in mines.

Waterproofing Parking Decks

Liquid Rubber Drylar™ prevents water and corrosion damage to parking deck structures when used as an inter-liner between the concrete superstructure and the parking surface. For smaller areas brush application of Liquid Rubber Zavlar™ is recommended.
